Together, everyone in our community creates a micro-fundraiser with all donations going directly to The Believe Fund. Learn How Here.

3 - We Reach Our Goals

Each month we reach our fundraising goals for each recipient.

4 - We Donate All Together

The Believe Fund makes a lump some donation to the recipient. We target grants of $10,000 per recipient - removing as much financial stress as we can.

Yes, THE BELIEVE FUND is a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 33-3870701. Donations are tax-deductible.

Do funds go directly to cancer patients?

Yes, the majority of the operating costs of The Believe Fund are paid for by the founders.

Who are the founders?

The Believe Fund was founded by Andrew Funderburg and Ikuyo Funderburg after both of them were diagnosed and treated for cancer in the same year. As business owners, they were able to weather the cost, but could immediately see the need for helping others.

Aren't there enough cancer donations?

Unfortunately 97% of all cancer donations go to research. And while these the drugs and surgeries saved the founders' lives, most of the money goes to mega pharmaceuticals and hospitals with very little left for people who need it the most.

How does it work?

Join our Facebook group, we identify the recipients and you share fundraisers on your social channels and the donations go directly to The Believe Fund

Why not just share the cancer patient's GoFundMe?

Studies show that many micro-fundraisers raise 20-40% more than a single GoFundMe. So by using the power of community we can raise more money and have more impact.
